Work for our Pro season is well underway, with new designs and ideas currently being worked on. We are coming up with new ways to score highly in the competition. Recently the team has featured on a small podcast run by other motorsport fans. This isn't only helping with our outreach but also allows us to share our passion in a socially sustainable fashion, whilst helping us to upgrade our digital media.
We were put into pairs then asked questions on the podcast about our roles, F1 in Schools as a whole, our experiences and our personal F1 takes. This platform has given us the opportunity to connect with the wider motorsport community and share our journey from a different perspective.
Another major update is that we have secured our first new sponsor for our Pro season. We want to say a big thank you to Total Carbide Ltd for supporting our journey! Their expertise in precision tooling aligns perfectly with our commitment to engineering excellence as we step up to Professional Class competition.
Team Spotlight
This month our website got a complete rebrand thanks to our Graphic Designer Tom. This new look makes us appear even more professional and holds more information about the team and our progress. This branding shift has also been carried over to our social media pages through our graphics, ensuring our marketing remains consistent. This refresh represents our digital evolution as we enter this new era of racing.
Alongside this, Harry has been working on the first iterations of the RR3. This new car will be crucial in our journey to success when racing at competitions. We will be able to find out how well this car performs in a few months thanks to Fiona booking us a testing day. This will show us where our strengths lie and identify any areas for improvement before racing.
Finally, the enterprise team has been working together to come up with unique pit display designs, marketing ourselves in a creative way to impress judges. This is still in the early stages of design but includes looking into the best materials to create a cohesive and professional result.
Upcoming Events
Last week the dates for Regionals were announced. We compete in the West Midlands Regionals which is held on February 5th, 2026. Setting a date means we can now establish realistic deadlines ensuring we are prepared for the big day.
We also have a very exciting project which we have been working on over the past couple of months which we will be able to share with you in the next couple of weeks. Keep an eye out for more news soon!
